Houghton Cycling Club are promoting the 100km Kilhope Grimpeur audax on Sunday 25th March 2012. The event starts in Lanchester Co Durham and takes in a route around the North Pennines, including, Blanchland, Allenheads, Nenthead, Killhope, Weardale, Crawleyside and back to Lanchester (102km).
There will be a "window" type start between 8.30 and 9.00am to spread the field out, which will help with congestion issues on the road and at the cafes/controls.
